AEW Dynamite: all ready!
It's a time of great anticipation in All Elite Wrestling. When, a little over a month ago, Tony Khan announced news that would shift the balance in the world wrestling scene, many had turned up their noses. But the facts are largely proving the owner of the AEW right!
And between a new champion like Kenny Omega, who is making headlines everywhere, the legendary Sting back on the scene after years of absence, and the NBA Hall Of Famer Shaquille O'Neal who intervened on the show, opening up potential scenarios for a rivalry with Cody Rhodes, Dynamite is establishing itself more and more as the hottest wrestling show of the moment, the one not to be missed for any reason.
What can we expect this week? Let's find out together ...
The Inner Circle to the test of the ring
After last week's clarification, Chris Jericho & co have vowed to put aside personal friction and resentment to continue together and dominate the federation. The first step in this direction was the confirmation of MJF as the holder of the Dynamite Diamond Ring, obtained by defeating Orange Cassidy in the main event last week. Now, however, the Inner Circle is called to the team test, in a 6 vs 6 that will see for the first time the almost complete faction (except for Wardlow, stopped by family problems) in action on the square. The opposing team will be composed of 3 tag teams, 2 young and emerging ones like the Varsity Blondes and the Top Flight and the most experienced and tested one of the Best Friends. And we'll see if it's really clear for Dynamite's longest-running stable.
What will Sting do?
The icon has set the record straight: he has signed a multi-year contract with AEW and intends to be a constant presence at Dynamite. However, his intentions are still obscure: he did not want to give clear answers to Cody Rhodes, towards whom he was rather cold and unfriendly, but he hinted a certain interest in the TNT champion Darby Allin, in whom perhaps he revisits a more young of himself. What will the Stinger have in mind? Will he be content to play a role as a mentor, or as an ambassador of the AEW brand, or is he contemplating a sensational return to the ring? This week we can begin to understand more.
The Acclaimed debut and Kenny Omega's return to the ring
6 matches have been announced for this week's episode: among these stands out the debut in the ring of Dynamite by The Acclaimed, a young tag team who, after making himself heard to the sound of cheeky and corrosive raps, will have to show what he is made of. done on the square against the SCU veterans. Also, "Hangman" Adam Page will team up with Silver and Reynolds of the Dark Order, who have been pressuring him for weeks to get him to join the faction. The outcome of the match against the team formed by Matt Hardy and the Private Parties could have a decisive weight in the choice of the Cowboy. And then Kenny Omega: After making his mark in Mexico and Impact Wrestling, the AEW champion will be back in action in the Dynamite ring for the first time since his controversial win at Winter Is Coming. His opponent will be the "Bad Boy" Joey Janela, in a match without disqualification which, considering Janela's propensity for the most extreme and violent wrestling, certainly does not look like a walk for "The Cleaner".
