The facility is expected to open in the fall of 2021 and 2021 and will have a covered pavilion with three basketball courts, its own education center and a residence for 450 players.
NBA and T3N Sport & Investment (T3N) join forces in Spain for their school.
The competition and sports consulting firms specializing in sports investment, training and development have signed an agreement under which the company will have exclusive rights to develop sports and multidisciplinary complexes under the NBA brand.
As part of this agreement, both provide for the creation of the first NBA basketball school in the new facilities of T3N, in the future sports complex of Villaviciosa de Odón (Madrid).
The new sports complex, scheduled to open in the fall of 2021, will have an indoor pavilion with three basketball courts in which the NBA will deploy its business. The facility will become the home of the country's first NBA Basketball School, the basketball development program with enrollments open to male and female players aged six to eighteen. It will also have its own education center, auditorium, internationally recognized soccer fields, a state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool and a 450-person residence.

NBA Basketball School in Spain includes daily basketball development sessions conducted by local coaches in coordination with the international NBA Basketball Operations team.
The program focuses on accompanying players, parents, coaches and organizations in understanding the improvement process, especially in the development of skills, physical conditioning, as well as the values of the game such as integrity, teamwork, respect and innovation. There are currently NBA basketball schools in Brazil, Greece, India and the United Arab Emirates.
"The agreement allows for the launch of the first NBA basketball school in Spain and a complex that can become one of the leading sports centers in the country," said Chus Bueno, vice president of basketball operations for NBA EME. "The T3N Sport Center will be a world-class facility where the next generation of Spanish basketball talent will be able to develop their skills as well as learn the values of the game," he added.
"This is a unique agreement, a strategic alliance not only for our company, but also for the Spanish brand and its international positioning", concludes David Pampliega, partner and CEO of T3N Sport.
